Building Stronger Communities
The WPCU Sunshine Community Fund® is the charitable giving arm of Wright-Patt Credit Union, Inc. ("WPCU"®). As a 501(c)(3) public foundation, the WPCU Sunshine Community Fund works closely with nonprofits that help improve, strengthen and safeguard the financial security of vulnerable populations within our community.
Since 2009, WPCU has been raising funds for organizations that reflect our values and positively impact those who live in the communities we serve. Over the years, more than $2.4 million has been raised in southwest and central Ohio to support local organizations. Additionally, the WPCU Sunshine Community Fund provides direct service programs and learning opportunities to the communities we serve through outreach and answering the call for help when those served by a local organization could use our help and knowledge.
The WPCU Sunshine Community Fund supports programs that align with financial well-being building blocks that make our communities more just and accessible for all. These building blocks include: Learning & Education, Housing, Social Integration, Financial Services, Employment & Income, Food Insecurity, and Health & Wellness.
