Upgraded WPCU Credit Card Experience

At Wright-Patt Credit Union® (WPCU®), we're always looking for ways to make your life easier, and that includes making upgrades to enhance your experience with our credit cards.

In the coming weeks, we'll be making several improvements to our credit card processing system. Keep reading to learn more about these upgrades coming to our credit cards.

Updates to All WPCU Credit Cards — as of 10/13/24

Updates to Your PIN
If you use your credit card at an ATM, you must update your PIN associated with your WPCU Credit Card on or after October 13, 2024.

To update your PIN on or after October 13, 2024, call (888) 891-2435 and follow the prompts.

Automatic Payments to Your Credit Card
If you have a scheduled automatic credit card payment to your WPCU Credit Card from your Wright-Patt Credit Union checking or savings account, you will need to update your payment information on or after October 13, 2024.

If your credit card payment is scheduled from another bank or credit union, you will need to cancel that scheduled payment and contact WPCU or your other bank or credit union to set up a new scheduled payment on or after October 13, 2024.

For payments scheduled through WPCU, this can be done through Mobile and Online Banking or by visiting your nearest Member Center.

If you typically mail in your credit card payment, use this address after October 10, 2024:

Additional Important Updates:

    • Starting October 10, 2024, "Pay My WPCU Loan" will no longer be available for credit card payments from external financial institutions. Instead, you can access your credit card account via Mobile or Online Banking to add external payment methods. Credit card payments from a WPCU account will still be available via Internal Transfers.
    • WPCU credit cards will no longer be available as an overdraft source for your WPCU account. If you have questions about your overdraft options, please visit your nearest Member Center or contact our Member Help Center.
    • There will be a delay in sending new or reissued credit cards October 7, 2024 through October 15, 2024.

Platinum Rewards Credit Card Updates

In addition to the updates above, there are several changes coming to our Platinum Rewards Visa® credit card, including a NEW rewards program, Member Lifestyle Rewards™. 

​Member Lifestyle Rewards — Available October 29, 2024! Temporary Pause on Rewards Redemptions October 10 – October 29, 2024.

With Member Lifestyle Rewards, it's easier than ever to access and redeem the points you've earned with your Platinum Rewards credit card for everything from gas to groceries to travel and more.

Member Lifestyle Rewards offers several convenient options for redeeming your points, including a new Pay with Points® option.

Here's what you need to know about our transition to Member Lifestyle Rewards:

    • All of your accrued points will automatically transfer to Member Lifestyle Rewards. The expiration date for your accrued points has been extended to October 29, 2027.
    • There will be a temporary pause in point redemptions starting October 10 through October 29, 2024.
    • During this time, you will continue to earn 1.5 points for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases with your Platinum Rewards card.
    • You can access Member Lifestyle Rewards through WPCU's Online or Mobile Banking starting October 29, 2024.

Please note: Beginning October 10, 2024, you will no longer be able to redeem your cashback rewards directly to a WPCU loan. Instead, when the Member Lifestyle Rewards program is live, you will need to redeem your cashback rewards to a WPCU checking or savings account and then pay your loans from that account.

Digital Services Needing Reset on or after October 14, 2024

If you were previously utilizing any of the below digital services available through Mobile/Online Banking or Business Banking for your credit card account(s), these will need to be reset/reinstated for that account on or after October 14, 2024. Any non-credit card account(s) will not be affected.

  • Scheduled or recurring transfers
  • Alerts and Notifications
  • Text Message Banking
  • Share Access with Others (Sub-Users)
  • Money Management
  • Account nicknames
  • Entitlements (Business Banking only)
