Polaris Ground Breaking

(March 1, 2024) (Columbus, OH) - Wright-Patt Credit Union, Inc.® (WPCU®) broke ground on their new Polaris Member Center on March 1, 2024.  Members of the WPCU team gathered with representatives from the Columbus Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the milestone.

“We couldn't be more excited to be here today to start the process of opening what will be our 9th member center here in Columbus," remarked President and CEO of WPCU Tim Mislansky. “We're here in Columbus for a lot of different reasons, but the biggest one is because we're dedicated to making an impact on people who live in Ohio."

The new location in Polaris is the first WPCU Member Center to open in Delaware County. It is the most recent step in the credit union's expansion in central Ohio, joining 7 Member Centers that are currently open: Canal Winchester, Graceland, Gahanna, Reynoldsburg, Grandview Yard, Lane Avenue, Grove City and the new Hilliard Member Center that is set to open this spring.

The $3 million-dollar investment will be a free-standing, 1800 square foot facility offering in-person financial coaching, dialogue station pods for walk-up teller services, convenient ATM/Personal Teller Machine (PTM) drive-thru services, and a complimentary coin machine.

“What we do different at Wright-Patt Credit Union is focus on people," added Mislansky. “What we do so well here– what we're very proud of - is make an impact on people's lives. We don't make impacts on car loans, we don't make impacts on mortgage loans or checking accounts. We make impacts on people. So we're very excited to be starting the process of opening this new facility so we can deepen and amplify that impact."
